About Me
(Use scroll bar to move down)

Before I ramble on about me, I'd like to give a big thanks to Radio ORLA for all their help in promoting both my works and events. Click her for Beata meets Lord Mayor Boris Johnson. Thanks Radio ORL -

Integration is the direction of my poetry and art.
My main aim is to achieve a connection between people and places, creating a platform for expression, experience and moments of reflection.

Born in Lublin, Poland in 1967, I discovered from an early age that painting and poetry came quite naturally to me, but more importantly these two forms of expression were highly enjoyable and uplifting.  Receiving a thank-you letter from Pope John Paul II for one of my poems at the tender age 14 gave me further impetus to develop and pursue
my talents.

I’ve been living in London since 1988, and have been purposefully seeking out and absorbing this city's wonderfully varied, historic and colourful atmosphere. Its cultural diversity and heritage proving inexhaustible and inspiring.

My subject matter is wide and varied, but I’m sure you’ll have notice my love affair with horses; a passion that started as a child and was greatly influenced by my Uncle Maciej Falkiewicz, (a worldwide recognised artist) and his love of breeding horses.

Horses for me are an expression of freedom, they posses an ethereal and magical quality that can be truly felt.

I hope my work provides moments of pleasure.

Thanks go to my lovely daughters, Anna and Nadia Howitt for their constructive criticism, love and support. Expressive thanks to my eldest daughter Magdalena Howitt.

Appreciations to Richard Follett for his technical advice, Thanks to my dear friends George Absi and Line Grabow for all their support.

Many thanks for inspirational guidance from my dear friend artist Dan Schlesinger, my great uncle Maciej Falkiewicz, artist Fabian Perez and artist Darryn Eggleton.

Special Thanks to my dearest friend Nita Harris who has always believed in me.

I am grateful to all my friends for their support and kindness
